Mark Milley participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial, and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff attended an event at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.[4]
The decision by President Biden to spend September 11th in Vietnam and Alaska sparked debate and criticism.
